MINUTES OF SPECIAL MEETING
August 16, 1965
Members Present: Mayor D. A. Anderson; Councilmen Bill J. Cooley, James
H. Dozier, Robert R. Rhodes, 0. M. Holt, Dan R. Davis, T. R. Holleman;
City Attorney Don Dillon; City Manager Ran Boswell.
At an informal meeting of the city council on August 16 a special
meeting was called for action on matters which follow:
On motion by Councilman Holleman, seconded by Councilman Rhodes, the
city manager was directed to have an engineering survey made to determine
the feasibility of bringing 29th Street into Tarrow Street, along the
existing water line. Motion passed.
The city manager was authorized to secure the service of a Mr. Vance
to purchase necessary land requirements for the extension of University
Drive to the underpass.
On motion by Councilman Holt, seconded by Councilman Cooley, and
passed, the city manager was authorized to enter into negotiations with
F. S. Kapchinski relative to the purchase of a small strip of land to
gain entry to the sewage disposal plant.
