Visitors present: Martin McBride, Alex Allen, and J. B. Dodson. Martin McBride, Chairman, Health Committee, discussed with the city council the need for adoption by the city of ordinances concerned with milk, frozen desserts, meat and food services. Assisting in the presentation were Alex Allen and J. B. Dodson of the Bryan -Brazos County Health Unit. At the close of the discussion the mayor requested the city manager to work up in ordinance form and submit to council members the recommendations of the City Health Committee. These will be reviewed by council members and action taken on their passage at a subsequent meeting. On motion by Councilman Holt, seconded by Councilman Adams, the following subdivision plats as recommended by the Planning and Zoning Commission were approved: a a. Southwood, Section I. b. Southwood, Section III. Gia c. Street dedication of Langford Street from Southwest Parkway, S450080711E, for a distance of 765.90 feet. On motion by Councilman Adams, seconded by Councilman Holt, Ordinance No. 511, establishing a plumbing code for the City of College Station, was adopted with amendments V) < made. Ld � On motion by Councilman Holt, seconded by Councilman Adams, and approved, Bennie Luedke was officially appointed as Plumbing Inspector for the City of College Station. Qe 0 On motion by Councilman Adams, seconded by Councilman Holt, and approved, the Qfollowing were appointed to a term concurrent with the office of the mayor in keeping 0 with Ordinance No. 511. Charlie Clark, Master Plumber; Richard E. Pulaski, Journeyman Plumber; Jim O'Brien, Building Contractor; Alex Allen, Sanitarian; North Bardell, City Engineer; and Bill Kling, Architect or Registered Engineer.
