Members Present: Mayor Langford; Councilmen Rosprim, Boyett, Holleman, Holt,
Rhodes, Orr; City Attorney Sandstedt, City Manager Boswell.

Minutes of meetings of September 16, 1964, and September 17, 1964, were
approved.
City Secretary Manning was excused from this meeting.
On motion by Councilman Orr, seconded by Councilman Boyett, Ordinance No.
416, an ordinance proposing to rezone Lot D. Tauber addition from District No.
9, First Dwelling House District, to District No. 3, Apartment House District,
and setting date for public hearing thereon, was passed and approved and ordered
published.
The following motion was introduced by Councilman Holleman and seconded
by Councilman Holt:
The city council of the city of College Station requests the
State Highway Department to proceed with its study of the
reconstruction of FM 60 from Old Highway 6 to new Highway 6
including the elimination of the circle on FM 60 and the
substitution of an intersection with necessary signalization.
The city of College Station agrees to pay for the cost, install-
ation, and maintainence of signalization if the Highway Depart-
ment study reveals the need for signalization.
� The vote of the council on the motion was unanimous.
The mayor and city manager were directed to look into the question of
codification of city ordinances and report to the council at such time as
it is convenient.
