Visitors Present: Messrs. C. B. Thames, F. J. Benson, W. C. Davis, John Blazen, Jim 0fConnell, Joe Hanover, North Bardell, Charles n Brunt, E. N. Rutherford. Mr. C. B. Thames, State Highway Resident Engineer, reviewed at length the various studies and plans which have been made for a grade separation at the intersection of Farm Roads 60 and 2154 and the Missouri Pacific and Southern pacific railroads. It was his recommendation that the property shown on the plans for the separation represents a minimum for a proper and adequate grade separation. W The council discussed at length the procedure for acquiring the prop - (7 erty in question, and after considerable discussion the following motion < was introduced by Councilman Orr and seconded by Councilman Holleman: W C MOTION The city council of the city of College Station, Texas, respect- fully requests the Commissioners Court of Brazos County to acquire by condemnation the right-of-way deemed necessary by the Texas 0 Stave Highway Department for a grade separation at the intersection of Farm Road 60 with Old Highway 6 and the Missouri Pacific Rail- road and the Southern Pacific Railroad. The cost of such right- of-way within the city limits of city of College Station, Texas, to be paid in the ratio of three-fourths of the cost by the city of College Station, Texas, and one-fourth by Brazos County. The vote of the council on this motion was: Ayes Councilmen Holt, Rhodes, Holleman, Orr, Mayor Langford. Noes --Councilman Boyett and R.o sprim. The council adjourne4 subject to call.
