MINUTES OF SPECIAL MEETING
August 29, 1962
Members Present: Mayor Langford; Councilmen Boyett, Rosprim, Sorrels;
City Manager Boswell
On motion by Councilman Rosprim, seconded by Councilman Sorrels, Ordi-
nance No. 353, an ordinance proposing to rezone certain areas within the city
limits, was passed and approved and ordered published.
On motion by Councilman Sorrels, seconded by Councilman Boyett, the bid
of $41,162.10 of H. J. Hogan for construction of a sanitary outfall line was
accepted and the mayor authorized to sign a contract for the city; the con-
tract to be signed only when Mr. J. C. Culpepper furnishes the city an agree-
ment or other acceptable document that he will participate in the cost of
construction to the extent of the cost of a pumping station and pump, re-
quired force main, gravity and outfall lines, etc., necessary to the comple-
tion of the system.
The council adjourned subject to call.
