October 27, 1961
Members Present: Mayor Langford; Councilmen Anderson, Boyett, Orr, Rosprim;
City Attorney Sandstedt, City Manager Boswell
Visitors Present: None
On motion by Councilman Anderson, seconded by Councilman Orr, the mayor
was authorized to renew a note in the amount of $2,000. with the College Station
State Bank.
On motion by Councilman Anderson, seconded by Councilman Orr, Ordinance
No. 329, an ordinance approving plans and improvements on Glade Street and
authorizing the advertising for bids on same, was passed and approved.
On motion by Councilman Anderson, seconded by Councilman Boyett,
Ordinance No. 330, an ordinance approving plans and improvements on Glade
and Orr Streets and authorizing the advertising for bids on same was passed
and approved.
On motion by Councilman Orr, seconded by Councilman Boyett, the mayor and
city manager were authorized to secure bids on the construction of a bridge
over the creek on Glade Street.
The council adjourned subject to call.
