L. Cashion, J. B. Hervey, Coulter Hoppess Purpose of the meeting was to discuss the question of providing adequate drainage in that portion of Culpepper Plaza lying between Nagle Street and Texas Company property and abutting on F. M. 60. Representatives of the propety owners concerned requested of the council a proposal indicating the extent to which the city could partic- ipate in the cost of storm drainage in the area concerned. On motion by Councilman Orr, seconded by Councilman Landiss, with Councilman Smith voting no, the following Resolution was adopted: �� RESOLUTION 1. The city will participate in the cost of providing ® adequate drainage in the area concerned to the extent of 4076 of the total cost, provided property owners is concerned bear the other 60110 of the.cost; W In 2. The total cost of the project shall include all costs Q incurred from this day, namely, February 6, 1961; AL1. 3. The city agrees to this proposal provided the property Ob owners concerned either place in escrow funds for their respective portion of the cost, or certify by letter addressed to the City of College Station that they accept O the agreement and participate as outlined above; m4. This action of the council rescinds that former action of the council taken at its regular meeting on December 19, 1960, wherein a cost of $19.86 per linear foot was indicated.
