WHEREAS,
THERE BE
Chapter 5, Section 4E of the Code of Ordinances,
City of College Station provides that inspection fees
in an amount determined by the College Station City
Council shall be paid to the city before a city permit
for electrical work will be issued,
IT resolved by the City Council of the City of Col-
lege Station that the following fees are established
for such inspection fees:

For single family dwellings one cent per square
foot of heated area with a mininum of $20.00.
For duplex and multiple family dwellings one cent
per square foot of heated area with a minimum of
$10.00/ unit.
For commercial buildings one cent per square foot
up to 15,000 square feet, then 1/2 cent thereafter.
For alterations and additions to existing structures,
the highest of $10.00 or the fee computed according
to the above schedule considering only the additional
area.
If more than one inspection is required because of
failure of the materials or workmanship to comply
with the Code of Ordinances, City of College Station,
the inspection fee for the second inspection shall
be $5.00. For the third and following re-inspec-
tions the fee will be the same as the original fee.
