SPECIAL CITY COUNCIL MEETING
THURSDAY, APRIL 30, 1981
7:00 P.M.
COUNCIL MEMBERS PRESENT:
Mayor Halter, Councilmen Ringer, Boughton, Dozier,
Prause, Runnels, Jones
COUNCIL MEMBERS ABSENT: None
STAFF PRESENT: Tax Assessor Collector/City Secretary Schroeder,
City Planner Mayo, Public Works Director Ford
VISITORS PRESENT: See guest register
Agenda Item No. 1 - Council Concerns
Tax Assessor Collector/City Secretary Schroeder stated that the Council needed
to set a fee for the Code of Ordinance books.
Councilman Dozier stated t'~e fee should be $100.00 per book.
The Council concurred to set the fee at $100.00 per book.
A~enda Item No. 2 -Closed session to discuss personnel [6252-17(~)] and land
acquisitions [6252-17(f)].
The Council moved to closed session to later open to the public.
A~enda Item No. 3 - Action on closed session.
Councilman Prause moved to reappoint Billy Pickard, Don Sweeney, and Charles
Page to the Ambulance Advisory Committee.
Councilman Jones seconded the motion which passed unanimously.
Councilman Jones moved to reappoint C.D. Claycamp and Paul Mason to the Building
Code Board of Adjustment & Appeals.
Councilman Ringer seconded the motion which passed unanimously.
Councilman Boughton moved to reappoint Dr. Robert Chenoweth, Carl Williams, and
Robert Ha r~l.~ to the Electrical Examining Board.
Councilman Ringer seconded the motion which passed unanimously.
Councilman Ringer moved to appoint Gary Anderson, Lynn Nemec, and David Ruesink
to the Parks and Recreation Committee and to reappoint Ted Nelson.
Councilman Runnels seconded the motion which passed unanimously.

Councilman Ringer moved to appoint Stephen Biles as Chairman and David Ruesink
as Vice-Chairman.
Councilman Boughton seconded the motion which passed unanimously.
Councilman Ringer moved to appoint Wesley Hall and Mike Fleming for a 2 year term;
Roy Kelly to a 1 year term; and to reappoint Jim Behling as Chairman on the
Planning and Zoning Committee.
Councilman Prause seconded the motion which passed unanimously.
Councilman Jones moved to reappoint Tim Coppinger and Joseph Williams to the
Structural Standards Board.
Councilman Boughton seconded the motion which passed unanimously.
Councilman Boughton moved to reappoint Violetta Burke and to appoint Dan McGilvray
to the Zoning Board of Adjustments.
Councilman Jones seconded the motion which passed unanimously.
Councilman Ringer stated that the Council members that were appointed to the
Library Committee were Ringer, Jones, and Runnels.
Agenda Item No. 4 - Adjourn.
Mayor Halter adjourned the meeting.
