A RESOLUTIC~ AUTBDRIZING THE CITY SECRETARY TO EXECUTE A PARTIAL
RkJ,E~,SE OF PAVING ASSESSMENT
WHEREAS, on the 23rd of July, 1981, the City Council of the City
of College Station passed Ordinauce No. 1312, au ordinauce closing the
hearing and levying assessments for a part of the cost of improving
Southwest Parkway frcm Texas Avenue to the East By-Pass in the City of
College Station; and
WtIEREAS, as per Ordinance No. 1312, an asses~nent of $46,675.56
paving was made against one certain tract, comnonly designated as
Tract 82; and
WHEREAS, the owner of Tract 82wishes to sell a portion of
said tract, and having agreed to pay the assessment of $10135.56
that portion, wishes to secure a release of paving lien on the
portion; and
WfIERFAS, the frontage on said street for the area to be released,
is reasonable in relation to the total assessment on the tract.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City of College Station
that the City Secretary is hereby authorized to execute on behalf of
the City of College Station a release of the pavinu lien on the
portion of Tract 82 that has had the paving assessment paid.
