the City Council of the City of College Station, Texas
recognizes that ~RS. H~.PDOKS retired onDecember 31,
1982 from employment in the city utility office; and,
Nrs. Hooks was a valued public servant who rendered
twelve (12) years of conscientious service to the citizens
of this c~m~uity; and,
she has always had the respect and ac~niration of her
co-workers and city officials for her loyalty, wisdom,
character, and integrity; and,
WHEREAS, her honesty, patience, and sense of duty have served to
inspire others throughout her tenure;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOL~ that this Council record its
appreciation to Hazel Hooks for a jobwell done and its
best wishes for an enjoyable and rewarding retirement
and that this resolution be made a part of the minutes
of this meeting and that a copy of this Resolution be
forwarded to Nrs. Hooks.
