WHEREAS, the City Council met on the 10th day of May, 1984, ~
and reviewed the feasibility and necessity of the exchange of
167.20 acres of the City of College Station tract located South
west of the intersection of Greens Prairie Road and Rock
Prairie Road for a quantity of acres, equivalent or superior
in appraised value.
IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED by the City Council that 167.20 acres,a
portion of the 1265 acre tract located generally along Rock
Prairie Road and Greens Prairie Road, will be exchanged for
real property equivalent or superior in appraised value, and
which acres (a) join and are contiguous to the City's
remaining property; (b) are contiguous to and enjoin Greens
Prairie Road; (c) are so located so as to provide access,
frontage and visibility to the City's remaining acreage, to
be more specifically described in the bid packets. The
exchange of property to be subject to certain restrictions,
covenants, and other obligations of future performance as
specified in the bid packets prepared by City staff at the
direction of the City Manager; and that the City will give
bidders notice as to the requirements for bidding for this
exchange.
