A RESOLUTION INCREASING THE PRICE OF CEMETERY SPACES IN
THE COLLEGE STATION CEMETERY AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR
TO EXECUTE WARRANTY DEEDS ON THE SALE AND CONVEYANCE OF
PARCELS OF PROPERTY THEREIN.
WHEREAS,
the City of College Station, Texas, owns and
has within its boundaries a tract known as the
College Station Cemetery, a plat of which is
on record in the office of the County Cler~ of
Brazos County, Texas; and,
WHEREAS,
the City Council of the City of College Station,
Texas, has established Rules and Regulations
governing the College Station Cemetery and,
furthermore, has authorized the sale and convey-
ance of certain parcels of land designated and
described as cemetery spaces;
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City
of College Station that the following fees are established
for the sale of property in the College Station Cemetery,
effective as of July 1, 1984:
Each single space, approximately 5'x10',
except in the Babyland Section $200.00
Each single space, approximately 4'x5',
in the Babyland Section
$50.80
and, That the Mayor of the City of College Station is
authorized to execute, as necessary, a Warranty Deed
consummating the sale and conveyance of a parcel of land
in the College Station Cemetery per the above price
schedule; each Warranty Deed so issued shall be signed by
the Mayor and delivered to the Purchaser by the City
Secretary after all terms and conditions of the sale have
been met, including payment of the above fee, as applicable,
and acceptance of the agreement in full by both parties.
