BY MARION C. PUGH BY DEEO RECORDED IN VOLUME 326, PAGE 869 OF THE DEED RECORDS OF BRAZO5 COUNTY, TEXAS FROM SINGLE FAMILY RESIDENTIAL DISTRICT R-lA TO APARTMENTS LOW DENSITY DISTRICT R-4. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLLEGE STATION. TEXAS: WHEREAS, the City Council held a public hearing in the City Hail at 7:00 P.M. on Thursday, June 9, 1983 on the question of rezoning certain areas within the City Limits: AND, WHEREAS, the City Councll has determined the following: To rezone or change the classification of all that certain 4.084 acre tract of land 1yinn and being situated in the Crawford Burnett League, in Brazos County, Texas, and being a part of that ~7.27 acre tract of ]and conveyed to Mohawk, Ltd. by Marion C. Pu§l~ by deed recorded in Volume 326, page 869 of the Deed Records of Brazos County, Texas and being more particularly described by metes and bounds as follows: BEGINNING at an iron rod marking the intersection of the west or southwesterly right-of-way llne of the Missouri Pacific (I & G.N.) Railroad right-of-way and the southeaster]y right-of-way of a County Road know as Luther Street, said iron rod being located S 19°39~E a distance of 44.6 feet from the east corner of the Cemetery, said east corner being the intersection of the common line between the Crawford Burnett and the J.E.Scott Leagues and the beforementioned west or south- westerly right-of-way line of the Missouri Pacific (I ~ G.N.) Railroad; THENCE 5 19°39'00"E for a distance of 219.71 feet for a corner, said point also being in the westerly right-of-way line of the abandoned I & G.N. Railroad right- of-way, said point also being the beginning of a curve to the left; THENCE along the aforementioned curve for a distance of 184.42 feet for a corner, said curve having a radius of 400.00 feet, delta of 26°25~00", tangent of 93.88 feet, and a chord bearing S 57°08'30"W for a distance of 182.79 feet; THENCE S 43°56'00"W for a distance of 650.73 feet for a corner, said point also being the beginning of a curve to the right; THENCE along the aforementioned curve for a distance of 209.44 feet for a corner, sa~d curve havlng a radius of 400.OO feet, delta of 30000'00'', Cangent of 107.18 feet, and a chord bearing S 58°56'OO"W for a distance of 207.O6 feet; THENCE S 73°56'00"W for a distance of 115.64 feet for a corner; THENCE S 63°53'49"W for a distance of 127.67 feet to an iron rod for corner, said iron rod also being in the southeast right-of-way llne of the aforesaid county road known as Luther Street; 0384 Ordinance No. 1424 page 2 THENCE N q3°56'OO"E for a distance of 1346.58 feet along the southeast right- of-way line of the aforementioned county road known as Luther Street right-of-way to the POINT OF BEGINNING and containing 4.084 acres of land, more or less, from Single Family Residentlal District R-lA to Apartments Low Density District And, it is ordained that said change shall become effective immediately.
