CITY COUNCIL ORIENTATION
FIRST SESSION

Agenda Item No. 1 - Closed session to discuss personnel
[6252-17(2)(g)].
The council moved to closed session to discuss administrative
personnel.
Agenda Item No. 2 - Dinner.
The council assembled for dinner.
Agenda Item No. 3 - Discussion of General Management Issues.
The council discussed various general management issues of the
City.
Agenda Item No. 4 - Break.
The council recessed for a short break.
Agenda Item No. 5 - Discussion of the Capital Improvements
Program and Comprehensive Land Use Planning.
Director of Capital Improvements Elrey Ash presented to the
Council an overview of the capital improvement projects for the
past ten years. These projects included parks, streets, and im-
provements to the water, sewer, and electrical. He also
presented a slide presentation depicting a number of projects
currently in progress.

City Planner A1 Mayo, described to the Council the objectives and
goals of the ComDrehensive Plan 2000. He stated that the Plan
changes on a daily basis and the staff would like to update the
Plan to comply with the growing trends in development around the
City.

Mayor Ringer adjourned the meeting at 10:30 p.m.
