A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE AN AGREEMENT
BETWEEN THE CITY OF COLLEGE STATION AND THE STATE OF TEXAS
FOR THE CONTINUATION OF TFE LITTER LAW ENFORCEMENT CON-
TRACT.
WHEREAS, on the 23rd day of May, lg86, the City entered in-
to a Litter Enforcement Proaram Contract for one year with
the State Hiahway DeDartment; and
~EREAS, the City of Colleae Statiom and the State of Texas
would like to extend this contract for one year; and
WHEREAS, on the 23rd day of April, 1987, the City Council
met in its reaular meetin~ and considered the Droposed
Amendment to A~reement for Litter Enforcement between the
City of College Station and the State of Texas for the con-
tinuation of the original Litter Enforcement Pro, ram Con-
tract; add
WHEREAS, the City of College Station City Council has de-
termined that the continuation of the Litter Enforcement
Program for one year would be in the best interest of the
City;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED By the City Council of the
City of Colleae Station that the Mayor is hereby authorized
to enter into the Amendment to Agreement for Litter En-
forcement attached hereto continuin~ the original Litter
Enforcement Program Contract for one year.
PASSED and APPROVED this 23rd day of ADril, 1987.
