AN ORDINANCE REZONING A 0.096 ACRE TRACT OR PARCEL OF LAND, LYING AND BEING SITUATED
IN THE RICHARD CARTER SURVEY, ABSTRACT NO. 8, COLLEGE STATION, BRAZOS COUNTY, TEXAS,
AND BEING MORE PARTICULARLY DESCRIBED BY METES AND BOUNDS IN THE BODY OF THIS ORDINANCE,
FROM APARTMENTS HIGH DENSITY DISTRICT R-6 TO ADMINISTRATIVE-PROFESSIONAL DISTRICT A-P.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLLEGE STATION, TEXAS:
WHEREAS, the City Council held a public hearing in the City Hall at 7:00 P.M. on
Thursday, October 25, 1984, on the question of rezonlng certain areas within
the City Limits:
AND, WHEREAS, the City Councll has determined the following:
To rezone or change the classlflcation of all that certaln 0.096 (4,182 square foot)
tract or parcel of land, lying and being situated in the Richard Carter Survey, Abstract
No. 8, College Station, Brazos County, Texas, and being a part of Lot 1 of the Court-
yard Apartments Subdivision, the final plat of which is recorded in Volume 583, Page
173, of the Deed Records of Brazos County, Texas, said 0.096 acre tract being more
particularly described as follows:
BEGINNING at an iron rod found marking the south corner of Lot 1 of the Court-
yardoApartment Subdivision, same being the west corner of Lot 2, and being located
N 44 17'48" W 171.00 feet from the northwest right-of-way line of State Highway No. 30;
THENCE N 44017'48'' W along the southwest llne of Lot 1 of the Courtyard Apartment
Subdivision, same being the northeast line of Block 2 of University Oaks, Section 1, the
final plat of which is recorded in Volume 274, Page 697, of the Deed Records of Brazos
County, Texas, for a distance of 20.00 feet to an iron rod found marling the common
corner between Lot 1 and Lot 6 of Block 2 of University Oaks, Section 1;
THENCE N 45°42~12' E across Lot 1 of the Courtyard Apartment Subdivision, parallel
with and 20.00 feet from the southeast line of the said Lot ] of the Courtyard Apart-
ment Subdivision, for a distance of 209.09 feet to an iron rod set for corner;
THENCE S 44017'48'' E for a distance of 20.00 feet to an iron rod set for corner
in the common llne between Lot 1 and Lot 2 of the Courtyard Apartment Subdivision;
THENCE S 45°42~12' W along the common line between Lot 1 and Lot 2 of the Court-
yard Apartment Subdivision for a distance of 209.09 feet to the PLACE OF BEGINNING,
containing 0.096 acres (4,182 square feeL) of land, more or less, from Apartments High
Density District R-6 to Administrative-Professional District A-P.
And, it is ordained that said change shall become effective immediately.
