AN ORDINANCE REZONING A 6.508 ACRE TRACT OF LAND LYING IN THE MORGAN RECTOR SURVEY, AB-
STRACT NO. 46, COLLEGE STATION, BRAZOS COUNTY, TEXAS, AND BEING ALL OF LOT 3 AND PART OF
LOT 2, LOT 4, LOT 13, LOT 14 AND LOT 15, BLOCK "B", OF THE RESUBOIVISION OF THE FINAL
PLAT OF LOT 1, BLOCK "B", EASTMARK SUBDIVISION, PHASE II, ADDITION TO THE CITY OF COLLEGE
STATION, TEXAS, SAIO FINAL PLAT BEING RECORDED IN VOLUME 579, PAGE 343, OF THE DEEO RECORDS
OF BRAZO5 COUNTY, TEXAS, AND BEING MORE PARTICULARLY DESCRIBED BY METES AND BOUNDS IN THE
BODY OF THIS OROINANCE FROM GENERAL COMMERCIAL DISTRICT C-1 TO COMMERCIAL-INOUSTRIAL
OISTRICT C-2.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLLEGE STATION, TEXAS:
WHEREAS, Lhe City Council held a public hearing in the City Hall at 7:00 P.M. on Thurs-
day, Jt~ne 28 , 1984, on the question of rezoning certain areas within the City
Limits:
AND, WHEREAS, the City Council has determined the following:
To rezone or change the classlflcation of a]l that certain 6.508 acre tract or parcel of
land in the Morgan Rector Survey, Abstract No. 46, College Station, Brazos County, Texas
and being more particularly described as follows:
BEGINNING at an iron rod set in the northeast llne of the above mentioned Lot 4, same
beln~ the southwest llne of State Highway No. 6, East By-Pass, said point being located
N 30v40'05' W 20.05 feet from an iron rod found marking the cor~non corner of Lot 4 and
Lot 5;
THENCE N 30°4OIO5' W along the northeast lines of Lot q, Lot 3 and Lot 2, at a dis-
tance of 155.11 feet, pass the common corner of Lot 3 and Lot q, at a distance of 333.36
feet, pass the common corner of Lot 2 and Lot 3, continue on for a total distance of 403.52
feet to an iron rod set for the north corner of this 6.508 acre description;
THENCE S 55°27m$O'1W through Lot 2, 70.00 feet from and parallel with the southeast
line of Lot 2, at a distance of 462.30 feet, pass the common line of Lot 2 and the above-
mentioned Lot 15. continue on through Lot 15 For a total distance of 556.83 feet to an
iron rod set and angle point;
THENCE S 42°O3'53'' W, contlnulng through Lot 15 for a distance of 203.63 feet to an
iron rod set for the west corner of this 6.508 acre description;
THENCE S 47°56'07'' E through Lot 15, Lot 14 and Lot 13, at a distance of 90.00 feet,
pass the common line of Lot 14 and Lot 15, at a distance of 263.00 feet, pass the common
line of Lot 13 and Lot 14, continue on for a total distance of 413.00 feet to an iron rod
set for the south corner of this 6.508 acre description;
THENCE N 42°03153' E through Lot 13, 20.00 feet from and parallel with the southeast
line of Lot 13, for a distance of 200.00 feet to an iron rod set and angle polnL;
THENCE N 55°27'50" E, continuing through Lot 13 and through Lot 4, 20.00 feet from
and parallel with the southeast Ilne of Lot 4, at a distance of 2.35 feet, pass the com-
mon llne of Lot 4 and Lot 13, continue on for a total distance of q37.43 feet to the PLACE
OF BEGINNING, contalnlng 6.508 acres of land, more or less, from General Commerclal Dis-
trict C-1 to Commercial-Industrial District C-2.

And,it is ordained that said change shall become effective immediately.
