Purpose of the meeting was to discuss with Mr. L. F. Riegel the
possibility of the purchasing of power from the Gulf St-tes Utilities
Company. Present were Ernest Langford, R. B. Halpin, M. C. Hughes,
N. F. Rode, F D. B-)lton, S. R. Wright, J. A. Orr, N. M. McGinnis,
R. L. Rogers, Ran Boswell_, L, P. Dulaney, L. F. Riegel, .nnd H. C. Levois.
No action t,!as taken on the proposal at that time. Mr. Riegel
was requested to put his proposition in the form of a contrp,,ct -nd
submit to the city.
Mayor L.^ngford reported that the City had recieved from the Gulf
St=rtes Utilities Company and from the Bra -ops River Transmission Electric
Cooperative, Inc. properly signed contracts for the Coil-nell to accept.
