October 9, 1950
The City Council met in regular session October 9, 19509 at 7:30
p.m withthe following members present: Magor Langford, Councilmen
Ames, Black, Halpin, and Orr; City Attorney Berger, City Secretary
McGinnis; City Manager Rogers, and Assistant City Secretanr Boswell.
The following* visitors were present at this meeting: Mr. and
Mrs. Robert R. Rhodes, Charles C. Armstrong, Walter S. Manning,
Ed. D. Pprnell, John Allphin, and Joel Austin from the Battalion.
After discussing several matters pertaining to city affairs, the
Council adjourned -t 9:00 p.m. without taking any official action
except to set Friday, October 13; 1950, nt 5:00 p.m. as the date
to hear and consider Dean Bolton's report on our power pboblem.
