November 28, 1950
The City Council met in a called session at 3:00 p.m. November 28, 1950,
with the following present: Mayor Langford; Co-ncilmen Black, Fitch, Halpin ,
and Orr; City Engineer Benson; City Secretary McGinnis; City Manager Rogers;
Assistant City Secretary Boswell. Visitor present: M. C. Hughes
This meeting was called to listen to a discussion of "Revenue Bond
Financing" by Mr. R. H. Baker of Rowles, Winston R Company, Investment
Securiters of Houston.
After the talk, the Council requested Mr. Baker to submit:..a proposition
for handling our proposed Revenue Bond Issue.
