TO THE MEMBERS OF THE CITY COUNCIL ANIS THE CITY ATTORNEY OF THE
CITY OF COLLEGE STATION, TEXAS:
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT a special meettng of the City
Council of the City of College Station will be held on the 25
day of April, 1950 at the City Hall in said city at 7:30D.m.
for the purpose of passing on matters as follows:
1. Awarding contract .for sewer construction

CONSENT TO MEETING
We, the undersigned members of the City Council ^nd the
City Attorney of the City. of College Station, hereby accept service
of the foregoing notice, waiving any P nd all irregularities in such
notice and consent and agree that said City Council shall meet at
the time and place therein named and for the purpose therein stilted.

MINUTES OF SPECIAL MEETING
April 25, 1950
Members presents Mayor Langford, Councilmen Badgett, Orr,
Fitch, Black, Ames; City Secretary IJicGi.nnis; City Engineer Benson;
City Attorney Barger.
On motion by Orr, seconded by Black, the following resolution
was introduced and approved.
RESOLUTION
Whereas, bids were opened and read on the construction for
the North Gate Interceptor Sewer at the meeting of the council on
April 14, 1950, said bids being according to plans, specifications,
proposals, and contract and bond forms prepared by Homer A. Hunter,
Consulting Engineer, Dallas, Texas, and advertisements for bids on
same having been made as prescribed by law; and
Whereas, upon opening and reading aforesaid bids it was found
that the lowest of the bids was submitted. by C. L. Andrews, Bryan,
Texas, namely, for the sum of .$6,298.57;
Now, therefore, be resolved that the award for said construction
of said North Gate Interceptor Sewer be made to the said. C. L.
Andrews, and further,
That the Mayor be
execute a contract with
in conformity with the
contract and bid forms.
