was adjourned to the College Station Council Room,for a k.,erieral dis-
cussion of coLaaon problems and interests.
The principal item of discussion `t'das a consideration of the
request of the :southwestern Uates ''Telephone Company for an increase
in rates. The opinion prevailed that neither the Bryan City Corurnission
nor the Golleve Gtation City Council is in a position to interprete
intelligently the report filed by the Southwestern Mates Telephone
Company. On rr.otion by i;`,ayor Dansby, seconded by Gouncilman Orr, the
group authorized the joint employment of an accountant versed in
telephone rates and studies to make a study for the benefit of the Bryan
City Co'mrrission and the Collet -,e Gtation City Council. essers. Madame
and Orr were appointed to secure the services of such an accountant,
the fee for whose services is to be shared jointly by the Bryan City
Commission and the College Station City Council.
C�uestions of utility rates were discussed and it was agreed, that
the Bryan City GonMmission would file with toe Golleve Station City
Council proposals relat:i.ve to the City of Bryan's selling to the City
of College Station electric power and water.
