Canvassing ballots of general city election held on April 3, 1951. Dated the 5th day of April, 1951. Mayor, City of Colle :ke ,. exas ecretary, City of College Station, Texas CONSENT TO MEETING We, the undersigned members of the City Council and the City Attorney of the City of College Station, hereby accept service of the foregoing notice, waiving any and all irregularities in such notice and consent and agree that said City Council shall meet at the time and place therein named and for the purpose therein stated. Councilman City Attorney ! �.l�,03J2 �d Q Q CALLED CITY COUNCIL MEETING April 5, 1951 The City Council met in a called session at 5:00 p.m. April 5, 1951, for the purpose of canvassing the results of the City election held on April 3rd, 1951, with the following members present: Mayor Langford; Councilmen Badgett, Black, Fitch, and Orr, City Secretary McGinnis; City Manager Rogers, and Assistant City Secretary Boswell. Councilman Black made a motion, seconded by Councilman Badgett, that the returns of the election held on April 3rd, 1951, be accepted as follows: For Councilman for Ward I - W. Howard Badgett 84, votes Homer B. Adams 52 James W. O'Brien 51 For Councilman Ward II - Harry L. Boyer 63 votes G. W. Black 53 Lloyd G. Berryman 43, For Councilman for Ward III - William D.
