TO THE MEMBERS OF THE CITY COUNCIL AND THE CITY ATTORNEY OF THE
CITY OF COLLEGE STATION, TEXAS:
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a special meeting of the City
Council of the City of College Station will be held on the 12th
day of April, 1951, at the City Hall in said city at 1:15 p.m.
for -the purpose of passing on matters as follows:
1. To consider a petition for an area to be brought
into the city limits.

CONSENT TO .MEETING
We, the undersigned members of the City Council and the City
Attorney of the City of College Station, hereby accept service of the
foregoing notice, waiving any and all irregularities in such notice
and consent and agree that said City Council shall meet at the time

MINUTES OF SPE Q AL CITY COUNCIL METING
April 12, 1951
The City Council met in a called session at 1:15 p.m., April 12,
1951, with the following members present: Mayor Pro -Tem Orr;
Councilmen Halpin, Badgett Boyer, and Ames; City Secretary McGinnis;
City Manager Rogers; and Assistant City Secretary Boswell.
The meeting was called to consider a petition for an area to be
brought into the city limits.
Councilman Halpin made a motion, seconded by Councilman Boyer,
that the Council adopt Ordinance No. 157, an ordinance receiving
certain territory adjoining the limits of the city into and in-
corporating the same as part of the City of College Station, Texas.
The Council vote was unanimous in favor of the motion.
