April 2., 1952
The City Council met in a special session at /+:00 p.m. April 2.,
1952, for the purpose of canvassing the results of the City Election
held on April Ist., 1952, with the following members present: Mayor
Langford; Councilmen Badgett, Boyer, Boyett, Fitch, Halpin and Orr;
City Secretary McGinnis; City Manager Rogers; and Assistant City
Secretary Boswell.
Councilman Orr made a motion, seconded by Councilman Fitch, that
the returns of the election held on April 1st, 19522 be accepted as
follows:
Ernest Langford 203 votes
For Councilman for Ward I
Marion Pugh 111. votes
For Councilman for Ward II
J. I.T. Sorrels 52 votes
For Councilman for Ward III
A. P. Boyett /+0 votes
The Council vote was unanimous in favor of the motion.
