May 14, 1952
The City Council met in a called session at 4:00 in the
afternoon of May 14, 1952, with the following present: Mayor
Langford; Councilmen Badgett, Boyer, Boyett, and Fitch; City
Manager Rogers; Assistant City Secretary Boswell and City
Secretary McGinnis.
Messers J. C. Culpepper and Bill Carll were present as
visitors.
A lengthy discussion was held pertaining to the width of
the streets and the type of street construction in the Oak
Terrace subdivision now being constructed on the Tauber tract.
No official action was taken by the Council.
The Council adjourned to meet again at 7:00 in the evening
of May 20, 1952, to continue the disucssion with Messers Cul-
pepper and Carll and to disucss a revision in the City's elect -
tic rate schedule.
