Mr. J. C. Culpepper was a. visitor for this meeting. M CL The following bids were received on one Ford sedan: m Cade Motor Company $1.520.00 ® Navasota Auto Company 1,570.00 0' Councilman Boyett made a motion, seconded by Councilman Sorrels, Q that the City Manager be authorized to purchase the car from the Cade Z Motor Company at their bid of 81,520.00 without trade-in. F�- The vote of the Council was unanimous in favor of the motion. Mr. J. C. Culpepper requested that Lots 7 and g of Woodland Estates be annexed to the city. Action will be taken on this request at the August meeting. Councilman Pugh made a motion, seconded by Councilman Seeger that Ordinance No. 193, an Ordinance modifying Jersey Street immediately in front of the A. & M. Consolidated Schools, be passed. The vote of the Council was unanimous in favor of the motion. The City Manager was directed to contact the Brazos County Commissioners Court relative to modifying that portion of Jersey Street lying without the city limits and immediately in front of the A. & M. Consolidated Schools. The City Manager was directed to inquire as to the installation of caution lights and signs at both locations of modification of Jersey Street.
