October 19, 1954, with the following present: Mayor Iangford; Councilmen Boyett, Orr, Pugh, Seeger; City Attorney Barger; City Manager Boswell. The City Secretary being absent, Mayor Iangford asked Mr. Boswell to keep the minutes of the meeting. The purpose of the meeting was to pass Ordinance No. 196, an Ordinance authorizing the Mayor to execute a deed conveying the property abandoned by Ordinance No. 194 to the Oakwood Realty Company of College Station, Texas. After general discussion, Councilman Orr moved and Councilman Seeger seconded, that Ordinance No. 196 as read be passed. The vote of the Council being affirmative, the motion was declared passed.
