NOTICE OF SPECIAL- MEETING
TO THE MEMBERS, OF THE CITY COUNCIL AND THE C aY ATTORNEY OF THE CITY OF
COLLEGE STATION., TEXAS:
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a special meeting of the City Council
of the City of College Station will be held on the 13th day of September, 1954
at the City Hall in said city at 5:00 p.m* for the purpose of passing on
matters as follows:
le Consider ordnance No. 194,
2. Request of Mrs. C. W. Burchard relative to construction of vault in cemetery.

We, the undersigned members of the City Council and the City Attorney
of the City of College Station, hereby accept service of the forgoing
notice, waiving any and all irregularities in such notice and consent and
agree that said City Council shall meet at the time and place therein named

CALLED MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL
September 13, 1954
The City Council met in a called session at 5:00 P. M. on
September 13, 1954, with the following present: Mayor Langford,
Councilmen Black, Boyett, Orr, Seeger, and Sorrels; City Attorney
Barger; City Manager Boswell and City Secretary McGinnis.
Councilman Sorrels made a motion, seconded by Councilman Orr,
that Ordinance No. 194' and Ordinance vacating certain tracts of
land on Fairview Street in College Park, be passed.
The vote of the council was unanimous in favor of the motion.
Councilman Orr made a motion, seconded by Councilman Boyetts
that the request of Mrs. C. Winfield Burchard that she be given
permission to construct an above—ground burial vault on a lot to
be selected in Section F or Section G., be granted.
The vote of the council was unanimous in favor of the motion.
