Agenda Item No. 1 - Canvass of Election Returns; Consideration of an ordinance
approving_ the returns for Charter Amendments.
Dr. Ed Burns, Presiding Judge of Central Counting Station, came foward to
canvass the results for the city council/charter amendment election held on May
2nd.
Councilman Brown moved approval of Ordinance No. 1955 to approve the
returns of the Charter Amendments and Resolution No. 5-6-92 indicating the
results of the city council and charter amendment election.
The motion was seconded by Councilman Crouch carried unanimously, 6-0.
Agenda Item No. 2 - Presentation of Service Plaque-~,
Mayor Ringer presented service plaques for councilmembers whose term expired
May, 1992, Councilman Schneider and Councilman Crouch.
A~en~ Item No. 3 - Oath of Office for newly elected offi_~als and to receive-
certificates of election.
Municipal Court Judge Steve Smith administered the oath of office to the
following officials.

Larry J. Ringer as Mayor for a term of office May 1992 - May 1994.
Hub Kennady as Councilmember, Place 2 for a term of office May 1992 - May
1994.
Vernon Schneider as Councilmember, Place 4 for a term of office May 1992 -
May 1994.
Nancy Crouch as Councilmember, Place 6 for a term of office May 1992 - May
1994.
Mayor Ringer presented certificates of election.
Mayor Pro-tern Brown presented service plaque to Mayor Ringer for his service
as Mayor from May 1990 - May 1992.
Agenda Item Bio. 4 - Adjourn.
Mayor Ringer adjourned the meeting at 4:45 p.m.
A reception followed to honor the Mayor and City Councilmembers.
