COUNCTLMEMBERS PRESENT: Mayor Ringer, Councilmembers Brown, Schneider, McIlhaney, Gardner, Crouch COUNCILMEMBERS ABSENT: Councilman Kennady STAFF PRESENT: Assistant City Manager Brymer, Assistant City Manager Woody, Executive Director Management Services Piwonka, City Secretary Hooks, Assistant City Attorney Nemcik, Assistant City Attorney Rayner, Assistant City Attorney Coates, Development Services Director Ash, Transportation Planner Hard, Senior Planner Kee, Executive Director Fiscal/Human Resources Schroeder VISITORS PRESENT: See guest register Aqend& Item No. L - Dieouseion of prohibitinq left-fume at the intereeotion of Dominik Drive and Tx. Avenue in order to improve tr&ffio e&fety and flow. Edwin Hard, Transportation Planner came forward to answer questions of the Council. Development Services Director Elrey Ash reported to the Council that the Highway Department plans to let the project in August. Paul Clarke, 216 Dominik addressed the Council. He affirmed the letting date in August and the city is being asked to submit information to the State by April. He requested this item be tabled at the regular meeting to allow time for a professional engineering study of the area. Charles Speer of Jerry J. Moore Investments, approached the Council. He also requested appropriate time for the study to be conducted by the consultants he hired. Francis Savage came forward to address the issue of the hazardous pedestrian crosswalk at the intersection of George Bush and Texas Avenue. Councilmembers Crouch and Brown acknowledged their intent to table consideration of this item at tomorrow night's meeting.
