THE CITY OF COLLEGE STATION, PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of College Station
that:
There shall be monthly charges assessed and collected from each
person, firm, or corporation within the city limits the following
monthly assessment charges for garbage disposal:
$17.53
One to ten bags/per collection for places of
business requiring treated medical waste
collection.
The solid waste superintendent, or his representatives, shall be
notified of any new service locations or changes in service
levels and will designate the container(s) to be utilized. The
superintendent can require changes in service levels at any
location when the current service is inadequate and is causing a
health, sanitation, or litter problem.
Payments must be received at the city utility office on or before
the due date to avoid late charges. Payment received after the
due date will be assessed a penalty equaling ten percent (10%) of
the current month's charges with a minimum charge of three
dollars ($3.00).
These rates shall be effective on all invoices submitted by the
City of College Station to users on or after April 1, 1994.
