A~enda Item No. 1 - Council and Staff tour of Police Depa~ment
Mayor Ringer called the meeting to order at 4:05 p.m.
Police Chief Ed Feldman reviewed accomplishments of the Police Department in
the past budget year. He acknowledged the council's funding support this
current fiscal year. Several police officers made presentations regarding
existing programs as well as future projects. The following individuals
addressed the Council. Major Mike Patterson, Communciations Manager
Ronnie Horcica, Sgt. Larry Johnson, Officer Greg Lewis, Dan Severn, Officer
Scott McCollum, and Chuck Fleeger.
Chief Feldman concluded the presentation. Councilmembers viewed the police
car equipped with a portable gridpad (handheld computer), project currently
being tested by Texas Transportation Institute in which the City of College

Station Police Department and Texas Dept. of Public Safety serve as
experimental entities for this project.
The meeting was adjourned at 5:30 p.m.
