COUNCILMEMBERS PRESENT: Mayor Mcllhaney, Mayor Protem Kennady,
Councilmembers Mariott, Birdwell, Hickson
COUNCILMEMBERABSENT: Councilmember Fox
STAFF PRESENT:
Assistant City Manager Brymer, City Secretary
Hooks, Assistant City Attorney Shively
A.qenda Item No. 1 -- Canvass of election returns from Saturday 10, 1996.
Presiding Judge of Central Counting Kay Parker presented the results of the
election. Mayor Protem Kennady moved adoption of the resolution.
Councilman Hickson seconded the motion which carried unanimously, 5-0.
A.qenda Item No. 2 -- Oath of office and certifiate of election to new
councilmember.
No action was taken.
Agenda Item No. 3 -- Order a special runoff election for September 7, 1996.
Councilman Birdwell moved approval of Ordinance No. 2197 calling for a
special runoff election. Councilman Hickson seconded the motion which carried
unanimously, 5-0.
A.qenda Item No. 4 -- Adjourn
Mayor Mcllhaney adjourned the meeting at 12:15 p.m.
