Members present: Mayor Pro -tem Orr, Councilmen Badgett and Halpin, City
Manager Rogers.
Visitors present: L. P. Gabbard, C.' B. Godbey, Ralph Rogers, Mrs. Bilszng,
Norman Anderson, Bill Turner, Ray Oden, and K. Pierson. (Odea and Turner
came late).
The 11ayor presented for discussion the subject 6f rezoning the Prock Property,
which is east and joining K. Kiersonts property on Highway No. 6. Mr.
Pierson said that he had no objection to the recommended rezoning.
The Mayor explained the budget as adopted by the Council. There were no
objections to the budget by those present.
Oden objected to an additional patrolman (which had been eleminated by the
council), but recommended street lights.
Rogers explained the prohibitive cost at this time for street liCht
installation.
The meeting then evolved into a general discussion of ca-Tninity unity, centering
on the number of College Station children going to school in Bryan.
