CITY OF COLLEGE STATION, PROVIDING FOR AN E~FECTIVE DATE.
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of~he City of College Station that:
Pursuant to the provisions of Chapter 11, Section 5, of the City of College Station Code of
Ordinances, there shall be monthly charges assessed and collected from each person, finn or
corporation within the city limits the following monthly assessment charges for garbage
collection and disposal:
GENERAL RATE PROVISION
Except as otherwise provided in this resolution, the charges for garbage collection and disposal
shall be assessed according to the following schedule:
$11.20
Each Residential I dwelling unit utilizing a small automated
refuse container and provided with garbage, rubbish, brush
and recycling collection once weekly.
$8.00
Additional monthly fee for Residential I dwelling units
having more than one automated refuse container. This rate
shall be assessed for each additional container utilized.
$11.20
Each Residential II dwelling unit utilizing an automated
refuse container and provided with twice per week garbage
collection and once per week rubbish/bmah collection.
$6.00
Each Residential III dwelling unit utilizing an automated
refuse container for garbage collection only. Service will be
provided twice weekly.
$12.00
Miulmum monthly charge for small businesses that jointly
use a commercial-type refuse container without musing a
health, sanitation or litter problem.

COMMERCIAL AUTOMATED COLLECTION RATES
The monthly per container garbage collection and disposal charge for commercial locations shall
be based on container size, number of containers utilized and frequency of collection per week.

ADDITIONAL CHARGES
The following additional charges will be assessed and collected upon the performance of the
described service or the occurrence of the described use or condition:

Daily rental fee for the use of any city-owned, 20 cubic yard
roll-off container.
$2.65
Daily rental fee for the use of any city-owned, 30 cubic yard
roll-off container.
$2.85
Daily rental fee for the use of any city. owned, 40 cubic yard
roll-off container.
$10.00
Additional fee for collection service requested by customer in
addition to the scheduled service on a 90 gallon container.

Additional fee for any location (other than residential) where
the container was blocked and the collection vehicle must
return to provide service.
Additional fee for collection service requested by customer in
addition to the scheduled sendce on a 2 cubic yard or 400
gallon container.
Additional fee for delivery and set-up on any city-owned, roll-
off container.

Additional fee for collection service requested by customer
in addition to the scheduled service on a 4 cubic yard
container.

in addition to the scheduled sendce on a 4 cubic yard
compactor.

Unprepared solid waste minimum charge. Actual cost of
clean up can be charged pursuant to City of College Station
Ordinance No. 1845, Approved March 22, 1990.

All roll-off container service per load plus current per ton
landfill charge.
The solid waste superintendent, or his representatives, shall be notified of any new sen, ice
locations or changes in service levels and will designate the container(s) to be utilized. The
superintendent can require changes in service levels at any location when the current service is
inadequate and is causing a health, sanitation, or litter problem.
Payments must be received at the city utility office on or before the due date to avoid late charges.
Payment received after the due date will be assessed a penalty equaling ten percent (10%) of the
current month's charges with a minimum charge of three dollars ($3.00).
These rotes shall be effective on all invoices submitted by the City of College Station to users on
or at, er April 1, 1998.
