HomeMy WebLinkAbout3-25-99-2.15 - Resolution - 03/25/1999RESOLUTION NO. 3-25-99-2.15 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLLEGE STATION, TEXAS, BRAZOS COUNTY, STATE OF TEXAS, APPOINTING THE ELECTION OFFICIALS FOR THE MAY 1, 1999 GENERAL AND SPECIAL CITY COUNCIL ELECTIONS, SETTING THE RATE OF PAY FOR OFFICIALS AND THE MAXIMUM NUMBER OF CLERKS FOR EACH POLLING PLACE. DESIGNATION OF THE POLLING PLACES ARE ESTABLISHED IN THE NOTICE OF ELECTION, ADOPTED FEBRUARY 11, 1999. Whereas, on January 7, 1999 and February 11, 1999, the City Council of the City of College Station ordered a special election to place a proposition on the ballot regarding vehicular traffic along Munson Avenue and a general election for the purpose of electing City Couneilmembers Places 1, 3, and 5; NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLLEGE STATION, TEXAS, THAT: The following registered voters of Brazos County and College Station, Texas, shall be and are hereby appointed to serve in said elections: Polling Place No. 2 (consisting of County Voting Precincts No. 2, 82) at Wellborn Water Supply Corporation, 4118 Greens Prairie Road West; Presiding Judge: Tommye Randolph 100 Mortier #612 College Station, Texas 77845 Alternate Judge: Roy Henry 100 Mortier College Station, Texas 77845 Polling Place No. 8 (consisting of County Voting Precincts No. 8) at South Knoll Elementary School, 1220 Boswell; Presiding Judge Karen Tohkubbi 1700 B Lawyer College Station, Texas 77840 Alternate Judge Helen Cluck 1212 S. There shail be a minimum of 3 and no more than 4 workers at each polling place.
