A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLLEGE STATION,
TEXAS, APPROVING A CONSTRUCTION CONTRACT FOR REHABILITATION
OF DOWLING ROAD PUMP STATION AND AUTHORIZING THE EXPENDITURE
OF FUNDS.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of College Station, Texas, has received bids for
a construction project on the rehabilitation of Dowling Road Pump Station; and
WHEREAS, a construction contract for the rehabilitation of Dowling Road Pump Station
has been signed and completed by the Contractor; now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of College Station, Texas:
PART 1:
That the City Council hereby approves the contract with Advantage
Contract Services for $281,950.00 for the labor, materials, and equipment
required to repair and repaint a five (5) million gallon tank at Dowling
Road Pump Station.
PART 2:
That the City Council hereby finds that Advantage Contract Services is the
lowest responsible bidden
PART 3:
That the funding for this project shall be as budgeted from the Water
Fund, Water Operation, System Maintenance.
PART 4:
That this resolution shall take effect immediately from and after its
passage.
