A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLLEGE STATION,
TEXAS, APPROVING A PROFESSIONAL SERVICES CONTRACT AND AUTHORIZING
THE EXPENDITURE OF FUNDS FOR PRELIMINARY AND FINAL DESIGN OF THE
RENOVATION AND EXPANSION OF FIRE STATION #2 PROJECT. (PROJECT NO. GG-
9902)
WHEREAS, the Staff of the City of College Station, Texas, has negotiated a contract for
professional services; and,
WHEREAS, a contract for professional services has been signed and completed by Brown
Reynolds Watford Architects, Inc.; now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of College Station, Texas:
PART 1:
That the City Council hereby approves the contract with Brown Reynolds
Watford Architects, Inc. for an amount not to exceed $90,000.00 for the
preliminary and final design of the Renovation and Expansion of Fire Station #2
Project.
PART 2:
That the City Council hereby finds that Brown Reynolds Watford Architects,
Inc. is the most highly qualified provider of the services for the Renovation and
Expansion of Fire Station #2 Project on the basis of the demonstrated
competence and qualifications.
PART 3:
That the funding for this project shall be as budgeted from 1998 General
Obligation Funds totaling $910,000.00.
PART 4:
That this resolution shall take effect immediately from and after its passage.
ADOPTED this 9th day of December , A.D. 1999.
