A RESOLUTION FROM TFIE CITY OF COLEGE STATION, TEXAS TO TH~ STATE OF TEXAS
REQUESTING THAT THE CITY BE ALLOWED TO CONSTRUCT AND MAINTAIN CERTAIN
LANDSCAPING MONUMENTS AND OTt IER APPROVED INSTALLATIONS 'FO BE SITUATED
WI'FHIN THE RIGHT OF WAY ON CERTAIN NON-CONTROLLED ACCESS ttlGHWAYS AT 1'1 Iii
ENTRANCE TO THE CITY OF COLLEGE STATION, SAID INSTALLATIONS AND OTHER
LANDSCAPFNG TO BE PLACED AND MAINTAINED IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE
DIRECTIONS FROM THE TEXAS DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION AND THAT SAID
INSFAELATIONS SHALL REMAIN IN PLACE AND UNDER THE MAINTENANCE AND
CONq ROL OF THE CITY UNTIL SUCH TIME AS WRI'FTEN NOTICE IS RECEIVED BY EITHER
PARq'Y REQUIRING REMOVAL OF THE INSTALLATIONS FROM THE RIGHT OF WAY; AND
PROVIDING FOR THE EXECUTION OF SAID RESOLUTION; AND DECLARING AN
EMERGENCY.
BE IT RESOt. VED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLLEGE STATION:
That the resolution dated this date from the City of College Station to the State of Texas for the
construction, maintenance, control and supervision of said landscaping monuments and other installations
on portions of those certain designated State Highways in the City of College Station be, and the same is
hereby approved; and that the Mayor is hereby authorized to execute said resolution on behalf of the City
of College Station and to transmit the same to the State of Texas for appropriate action.
