A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLLEGE STATION, BRAZOS
COUNTY, STATE OF TEXAS, APPOINTING THE ELECTION OFFICIALS FOR THE NOVEMBER
4, 2003, SPECIAL BOND AND CHARTER AMENDMENT ELECTION, SETTING THE RATE OF
PAY FOR OFFICIALS AND THE MAXIMUM NUMBER OF CLERKS FOR EACH POLLING
PLACE.
WHEREAS, on August 11, 2003, and August 28, 2003, the City Council of the City of College Station
ordered two special elections for the purpose of proposing bond issues and charter amendments to the
electorate in the City of College Station, and designating the polling places for this election; now,
therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLLEGE STATION, TEXAS:
PART 1: That the following registered voters of Brazos County shall be and are hereby appointed
to serve in said elections:
City /School Polling Place No. 34, College Station City Hall (1101 Texas Avenue)
consisting of Precincts No. 9, 10A, 10B, 20, 21, 24, 34

PART 2: That the following persons are hereby appointed as the Early Ballot Board to count the
early ballots:
PART 3: That the Council Chambers in the College Station City Hall is hereby established as the
Central Counting Station to receive ballots for said election. The ballots shall be
tabulated and returned to the office of the City Secretary for the required retention period.
The following persons are hereby authorized and appointed as persons employed and
designated to handle the ballots, operate the tabulating equipment and count the ballots.

Tabulation Assistant: Tim Clark
Clerks: To be appointed by the Presiding Judge
PART 4: That, in accordance with Section 32.091 of the Texas Election Code, the judges and
clerks shall be paid $8.00 per hour and the presiding judge shall receive an additional
$25,00 for delivery of returns to Central Counting Station. There shall be a minimum of
three and no more than six officials at each polling place.
PART 5: That this resolution shall take effect immediately from and after its passage.
