HomeMy WebLinkAbout2-27-2003-8.7 - Resolution - 02/27/2003RESOLUTION NO. 2-27-2003-8.7 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLLEGE STATION, TEXAS, AUTHORIZING AN AMENDMENT TO THE RESOLUTION DETERMINING NEED NUMBER 4- ll-2002-10.06 AND AUTHORIZING THE ACQUISITION OF AN EASEMENT 1NTEREST IN PROPERTY FOR THE LONGMIRE SOUTH PROJECT. WHEREAS, the City Council of College Station, Texas authorized a Resolution Determining Need on April 11, 2002, said resolution being numbered 4-11-2002-10.06; and WHEREAS, the public welfare and convenience will be served by the acquisition of a drainage easement necessitated by the construction of the roadway on the property described in Exhibit A; NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLLEGE STATION, TEXAS: PART 1: That the Resolution Determining Need numbered 4-11-2002-10.06 dated April 11, 2002 is amended by changing the description of the property and authorizing the acquisition of a drainage easement as an appurtenance or an improvement incidental to the right-of-way in addition to the property required for right-of-way as part of the improvements necessitated by the project; PART 2: That the description for the additional property required for the drainage easement is attached hereto and made a part hereof far all intents and purposes, and is labeled Exhibit "A". PART 3: That all other matters in the prior resolution remain unchanged. PART 4: That this resolution shall take effect immediately from and after its passage.
