A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLLEGE STATION,
TEXAS, URGING CITIZENS TO VOTE AT THE CITY OF COLLEGE STATION BOND
AUTHORIZATION ELECTION CALLED FOR NOVEMBER 4, 2003.
WHEREAS, a Citizens Advisory Committee on Capital Improvement Projects has reviewed and
recommended a number of projects to the City Council of the City of College Station, Texas; and
WHEREAS, the City Council believes that voting is both a right and a duty provided to its
citizens; now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLLEGE STATION,
TEXAS:
PART 1. Urges the citizens of the City of College Station, Texas, to exercise their right to
vote on the various propositions in the election called to authorize general
obligation bonds.
PART 2. This Resolution shall be effective immediately from and after its passage.
ADOPTED and PASSED by affirmative vote this 9 day of September 2003.
