A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLLEGE STATION,
TEXAS, SELECTING A PROFESSIONAL CONTRACTOR, APPROVING A
CONSULTANT CONTRACT AND AUTHORIZING THE EXPENDITURE OF FUNDS
FOR THE USEPA VULNERABILITY ASSESSMENT PROJECT.
WHEREAS, the City of College Station, Texas, solicited proposals for a water system
vulnerability assessment study; and
WHEREAS, the selection of Malcolm Pirnie, Inc. is being recommended as the most highly
qualified provider of the assessment services; now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of College Station, Texas:
PART l: That the City Council hereby finds that Malcolm Pirnie, Inc. is the most
highly qualified provider of the services for USEPA Vulnerability Assessment
Project on the basis of demonstrated competence and qualifications.
PART 2: That the City Council hereby approves the contract with Malcolm Pirnie, Inc.
for an amount not to exceed $73,000.00 for the assessment services related to
the USEPA Vulnerability Assessment Project.
PART 3: That the funding for this project shall be as budgeted from the Water
Operating Fund in the amount of $73,000.00.
PART 4: That this resolution shall take effect immediately from and after its passage.
ADOPTED this 13th ay of March, A.D. 2003.
