A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLLEGE STATION,
TEXAS, APPROVING A CONSTRUCTION CONTRACT FOR THE JACK AND
DOROTHY MILLER PARK CONCRETE SIDEWALK/RUBBER CUSHION
SURFACING PROJECT AND AUTHORIZING THE EXPENDITURE OF FUNDS.
WHEREAS, the City of College Station, Texas, solicited bids for the construction phase of the
Jack and Dorothy Miller Park Concrete Sidewalk/Rubber Cushion Surfacing Project; and
WHEREAS, the selection of Young Contractors, Inc. is being recommended as the lowest
responsible bidder for the construction services related to the Jack and Dorothy Miller Park
Concrete Sidewalk/Rubber Cushion Surfacing Project; now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of College Station, Texas:
PART 1: That the City Council hereby finds that Young Contractors, Inc. is the
lowest responsible bidder.
PART 2: That the City Council hereby approves the contract with Young
Contractors, Inc. for a revised total of $61,643.20 per bid addendum #1 for
the total number of for the labor, materials and equipment required for the
improvements related the Jack and Dorothy Miller Park Concrete
Sidewalk/Rubber Cushion Surfacing Project.

PART 3: That the funding for this Project shall be as budgeted from the Fiscal Year
2002 Public Works, Streets Capital Improvement Project Fund and the
Public Works, Streets Capital Improvement Project balance, in the revised
amount of $61,643.20.
PART 4: That this resolution shall take effect immediately from and after its passage.
ADOPTED this 25 day of April, A.D. 2002.
