A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLLEGE
STATION, TEXAS, APPROVING A CONSTRUCTION CONTRACT FOR FIRE
STATION #1 REPAIRS AND RENOVATIONS AND AUTHORIZING THE
EXPENDITURE OF FUNDS.
WHEREAS, the City of College Station, Texas, solicited bids for the construction of Fire
Station #1 Repairs and Renovations; and
WHEREAS, the selection of JaCody, Inc. is being recommended as the lowest
responsible bidder for the construction services related to the Fire Station #1 Repairs and
Renovations; now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of College Station, Texas:
PART 1: That the City Council hereby finds that JaCody, Inc. is the lowest
responsible bidder.
PART 2: That the City Council hereby selects the base bid in the bid
proposal and approves a contract with JaCody, Inc. in the amount
of $524,961.00 for the labor, materials and equipment required for
SWF Fire Station #1 Repairs and Renovations.
PART 3: That the $524,961.00 funding for this Project shall be as budgeted
from Fire Station #1 Rehabilitation, Project No. GG -0103, which
has budgeted funding in the total amount of $681,000.00.
PART 4: That this resolution shall take effect immediately from and after its
passage.
ADOPTED this 22 day of August, A.D. 2002.
