A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLLEGE STATION,
TEXAS, APPROVING A PROFESSIONAL SERVICES CONTRACT AND
AUTHORIZING THE EXPENDITURE OF FUNDS FOR THE FIRST AND MAPLE
STREETS REHABILITATION PROJECT. (PROJECT NO. ST- 0201).
WHEREAS, the Staff of the City of College Station, Texas, has negotiated a contract for
professional services with McClure Engineering, Inc. for engineering and surveying services for
the First and Maple Streets Rehabilitation Project (Project No. ST- 0201); and,
WHEREAS, the selection of McClure Engineering, Inc. is being recommended as the most
highly qualified provider of the engineering and surveying services; now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of College Station, Texas:
PART 1: That the City Council hereby finds that McClure Engineering, Inc. is the
most highly qualified provider of the services for the First and Maple
Streets Rehabilitation Project on the basis of demonstrated competence
and qualifications.
PART 2: That the City Council hereby approves the contract with McClure
Engineering, Inc. for an amount not to exceed $105,000.00 for the First
and Maple Streets Rehabilitation Project.
PART 3: That the funding for this project shall be as budgeted Community
Development Block Grant in the amount of $789,250.00 and Utility
Revenue Bonds in the amount of $259,450.00.
PART 4: That this resolution shall take effect immediately from and after its passage.
ADOPTED this 14th day of March, A.D. 2002.
