A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLLEGE STATION,
TEXAS, SELECTING A PROFESSIONAL CONTRACTOR, APPROVING A
PROFESSIONAL SERVICES CONTRACT AND AUTHORIZING THE EXPENDITURE
OF FUNDS FOR TRANSPORTATION SERVICES FOR VARIOUS
TRANSPORTATION PROJECTS.
WHEREAS, the City of College Station, Texas, desires to retain services for planning,
designing, and preparing plans and specification for transportation projects; and
WHEREAS, the selection of Transportation Engineering Analysts is being recommended as the
most highly qualified provider of the transportation services; now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of College Station, Texas:
PART 1: That the City Council hereby finds that Transportation Engineering
Analysts is the most highly qualified provider of the services for
transportation including but not limited to planning and signal design
Projects on the basis of demonstrated competence and qualifications.
PART 2: That the City Council hereby approves the contract with Transportation
Engineering Analysts for an amount not to exceed $135,000 for
transportation services for various transportation Projects.
PART 3: That the funding for this project shall be as budgeted from the 1998 GOB
Traffic Signals Capital Improvement Funds in the amount of $ 135,000.
PART 4: That this resolution shall take effect immediately from and after its passage.
ADOPTED this 14 day of February, A.D. 2002.
