TOWN MEETING
May 25, 1948
Sixty-six citizens interested in the welfare of the city met in the
gymnasium of Cons oIida.ted High School May 25, 19!-8 at 7:30 P. Mo for a
discussion of immediate and future city problems and a discussion of
the city's budget for 1948-1949.
Mayor Langford presided as chairman for the meeting and gave a complete
report on the city's finances.
After the Mayor's report the meeting was opened for discussion of city
affairs by the assembled group. Many phases of the city's needs were
discussed and complete harmony prevailed.
The city's budget for 1948-1949 was approved by a unanimous vote.
